[It's been while since she's talked to Zelos, and by a while, just a few weeks, which is totally a while when you're used to seeing your friends every single day. So, forgetting how 100% of their conversations go, or really not caring or minding for the time being, Flora greets him with a positively delighted smile.]

Hey, Zelos! How are you?

[The feed opens up and she can see Zelos- gathering up some plates and what looks like a couple used but empty wine glasses. At least, it looks like he's alone]

Oh hey, Flora! [He smiles]

I'm...fine! How about you, my dear?

[Couples...couples of things.]

Oh...ah, am I interrupting something? I can call you back, later.

Mm?

Oh- no. It's fine! [He sets a plate down and runs a hand through his hair. Which....is it looking kinda ruffled up? Or at least, a bit messier than usual]

You're not interrupting anything, don't worry.

[She's noticing that messier hair, Zelos!!]

Say, what's Lloyd look like?

Lloyd?

[That's- oh yeah, he did tell her about Lloyd once]

Brown hair, wears a lot of red- why? Did you see him?

Uh, yeah. Twice. The first time was at the feast, and the second was when you guys were running and then had that spat.

So, you know, if you need some time to talk things out, really, I can call back later. I don't want to intrude.

-- Oh. You...saw that, huh?

[He chuckles a bit weakly, rubbing his forehead. OOPS. He forgot there had been people he actually knows in that crowd]

It's fine. He already left.

[Okay, dinner, wine, and messy hair might just be that: dinner, wine, and messy hair.

But then the whole wrench in the works is that Zelos Wilder is involved and Flora can't be sure that she's not calling him after he's had make u--yeah, you know what, she probably doesn't want to know.

And yet, she's gotta ask. For friendship.]

Is everything okay?

You mean other than he's being more of an idiot than usual?

[He starts looking around. Where did he put that wine bottle?]

You mean you guys didn't make up?

[Or is that just like affectionate ribbing??? She can't tell. Either is likely, isn't it?]

Make up?

[he scoffs and oh- there it is. He's reaching over to get that bottle]

Kinda hard to do that he won't talk to me.

[!!! That's a wine bottle! Who has dinner in their bedrooms like that just the two of them THAT IS SO PERSONAL.

Okay, but this is suddenly sounding so much like Girl Talk with her friends, except there's no ice cream and there's no sleepover, but the principle is the same: you've got to hit that nice blend of objectivity but unambiguous support. They have to know they've got people in their corner.]

Maybe he feels like there's something he has to do himself--he seems pretty dutiful--but that still must be rough. But, being stuck here can change things, maybe he'll come around on his own?

[A wine bottle he is pulling the cork open himself. He seems to be just about ready to take a swig straight from the bottle BUT-- nope he can't do it he was raised too proper. So he pours some wine into one of the glasses and takes a swig from that]

Oh I'm sure he has good intentions. He always does. [Even if he's pissed, the trust is still there]

But he's an idiot! He's not good at the whole loner schtick and now's really not the time for it!

You're right about that, and if he does have good intentions, I'm sure things will change, hopefully sooner rather than later.

[Super faith in a person she's just met, yeah!!!]

I mean, it's not like things are ever really dull around here. However anyone might feel about the situation as a whole, there are just some things we can't keep ourselves separate from.

Yeah...you're right.

[He sighs. He knows Lloyd will come around eventually. And he knows Lloyd probably has good reasons for the secrets. But he couldn't deny it was still frustrating. How was he supposed to look out for someone that kept avoiding him? And what was Lloyd hoping to gain by trying to be the solo one- that was what Zelos did dammit]

Anyway- you said you met him?

I did! We bumped into each other. [More like he knocked her down, but eh, details. She seems very happy with this anyway, like this is how people meet.]

...I didn't tell him that I knew you, though. [Which might seem a bit suspicious for her. ]

Really?

That's surprising. How come?

Oh, well. [She scratches her cheek, smiling sheepishly.] I didn't know what he looked like, and you never know who might be someone that says they're a friend, but really aren't and then stop playing nice and try to hurt you to get to them or try to kill the person when they have them in their sights or something like that.

Wow, that's...

[he was going to say PARANOID; but he pauses]

Actually, no that's a good point. He has had an imposter before.

Wow, really?

[Of course she wanted to be careful in the first place, but it's still surprising to hear.]

People can transform themselves where you come from?

Normally, no. I'm still trying to figure out how he did it.

[Since damn Tenebrae wasn't forthcoming with the information about the core! >B( ]

But it wasn't a perfect disguise, anyway. I was able to figure it out pretty quick.

Oh. Hmm. That is strange, then.

But I'm glad you did. That sort of thing can get really messy.

Yeah, tell me about it. [Like talk about two massacres level of messy. But he's not about to share that part- he wasn't the one framed for it]

But don't worry, that guy smells all wrong, so if he shows up here posing as Lloyd- I'd know right away!

...That is some nose you have there. What's he smell like?

[And Zelos how do you know so intimately what Lloyd smells like to draw a comparison?
