You're right about that, and if he does have good intentions, I'm sure things will change, hopefully sooner rather than later.

I mean, it's not like things are ever really dull around here. However anyone might feel about the situation as a whole, there are just some things we can't keep ourselves separate from.

Yeah...you're right.

[He sighs. He knows Lloyd will come around eventually. And he knows Lloyd probably has good reasons for the secrets. But he couldn't deny it was still frustrating. How was he supposed to look out for someone that kept avoiding him? And what was Lloyd hoping to gain by trying to be the solo one- that was what Zelos did dammit]

Anyway- you said you met him?

I did! We bumped into each other. [More like he knocked her down, but eh, details. She seems very happy with this anyway, like this is how people meet.]

...I didn't tell him that I knew you, though. [Which might seem a bit suspicious for her. ]

That's surprising. How come?

Oh, well. [She scratches her cheek, smiling sheepishly.] I didn't know what he looked like, and you never know who might be someone that says they're a friend, but really aren't and then stop playing nice and try to hurt you to get to them or try to kill the person when they have them in their sights or something like that.

Wow, that's...

[he was going to say PARANOID; but he pauses]

Actually, no that's a good point. He has had an imposter before.

[Of course she wanted to be careful in the first place, but it's still surprising to hear.]

But it wasn't a perfect disguise, anyway. I was able to figure it out pretty quick.

I'm glad you pegged him, but what if it'd turned out that it had been Lloyd and he just had...unique tastes in fragrances?

Nope. More like he subscribed to the take a bath of it philosophy.

[And Zelos shakes his head at that immediately]

No. I'm willing to bet Lloyd can't even spell cologne, much less want anything to do with that.

[And even more to the point] Besides, Lloyd wouldn't kidnap my sister.

Yuck. I'm not really big on synthetic fragrances but even I know less is more.

[But whoa, whoa, whoa hold the phone!]

Your sister was kidnapped? Did she make it out okay?

Yeah, she was.

[He gets a very unhappy expression thinking about it. He really regrets not getting to kill Alice and Decus.]

We got her out. She was recovering back home when I got brought here.

I'm sorry that happened, but I'm glad she got out okay.

[She can't help but feel for him. It's one more thing that needs his attention that he's been pulled away from.

It's that fact that actually reminds her what she wanted to talk to him about in the first place.]

So, I was wondering if you might help me with something tomorrow, if you weren't going to be busy with other things.

[He shakes his head to shake himself out of it a little. It just pissed him off, and there's nothing he can do about it]

I would hope not considering where we'd be going, I'd like to think I have better taste than that.

[She grins, slightly.]

But, I can buy you dinner afterwards. Or next week. Or both. There's some place else I want to go, but more on that, later.

Well, consider me interested, my dear! Where are we going?

The Drabkeeper's Castle. I think I have a way to investigate what happened, but I'd like more eyes on it.

[wilder]

The Drabkeeper's- You do? Really?

[Oh yeah. He's definitely interested]

Yeah I wanna know- but wait. Doesn't it take a month to get there, even with the fairy rings? [Slight concern crosses his face, because man, he's not sure he could get Lloyd to agree to come with him for a month- but he's not sure staying apart for that long would be a good idea either]

Yeah, I can have a retrocognitive power, and it's especially tailored to finding people or things, so I'm hoping to maybe find the Drabkeeper, or whoever's responsible, or both. Something.

[Oh right, people actually ride and stuff here, don't they. suckers] It's all right, travel won't be a problem. I can teleport, so we can be there and back, easily, and having a look shouldn't take very long at all.
