Why thank you, thank you! Perfect gentlemen, Zelos Wilder- let it be known!

[But yep. it had been partly out of comfort. He didn't go to as great of lengths to hide it anymore, but he still preferred to keep it quiet. It was better to be known as a human than as something else.]

[But...well, Flora was a friend - as much as they argued. And she wasn't exactly human herself, so it wasn't like it'd be that big a deal to her right?]

Well...you free right now? If you come over to my room, I could show you.

Flora is all for manners and propriety and all that lovely (usually) necessary jazz, but the only reason why she didn't break into her then-crush's room herself is because she was too shyyyyy.

She's sort of over that now.

And she's not breaking in, anyway. Besides, Zelos is a friend.]

[Wow really? She teleported to the hallway? Whatever- he gets up and opens the door]

Really? You couldn't have just- teleported in here?

I didn't want to be rude in case you needed another minute. You were tidying up, weren't you?

Just a couple plates. It's not like the place is trashed.

[But whatever! He'll hold the door open for her so he can shut it when she's in]

[Such a gentleman and wow, these are some nice digs, okay. Not that she gawks, because 1) that's unseemly 2) she's used to seeing nice places, but still, she has a cursory glance or two. She's never been in someone else's room before.]

It doesn't surprise me.

[She doesn't come from a rigid caste system but rank does matter quite a bit where she comes from. That's just how life is.]

Zelos they're...they're beautiful. [She clasps her hands, delighted and humbled all at once.] Absolutely wonderful.

[His wings flutter a bit, and he rubs the back of his head. Honestly, he's very used to getting compliments on the rest of his appearance. The wings though...not so much. It's still kinda awkward for him tbh]

Heh, thanks. [Oh right, should probably cover the awkward with something] But that's not a surprise, right? I mean, they do come from me after all.

[She knows that he knows that she has wings too, but she wonders if it'd be better for him if they were on more equal ground, so to speak. If anything, it might give him something to look at so he's not so focused on how focused she is on him.

She might have to clip him one if he makes a "i'll show you mine if you show me yours" joke, though. Nonetheless, she makes a little victory sign and says.]

[There's that brilliant flash of gold and she is transformed. There, much better hopefully. But oh no his wings are fluttering. That's co cute even if they're wings she sees them all the time, but they're not her wings, okay. There's a world of difference!]

Of course, not surprising at all in hindsight, but a girl can be impressed, can't she? And what a fabulous colour--they go great with your hair and your eyes, too.

[But they're so great, they're so great, and her own wings perk up a little with how happy she is.]

[Honestly, it does help. Maybe not so much for the staring at her so much as just not feeling like he's the only winged freak around. It was the same reason he felt more at eased with stuff like this when Colette was around- he wasn't alone then.]

[And even if he knows Flora isn't a Chosen, or even an angel- well she still isn't entirely normal]

[Also..might apparently have a thing for wings. Wow. Who knew. ]

[Don't you? is what she wants to ask, but she wonders if that might be a little much. Flora's had to hide who and what she is before, albeit and thankfully not for long, but she was relieved when she no longer had to. Zelos doesn't seem very relieved, but a little awkward, like he's slipped into a convertible dress and isn't sure how to wear it. She doesn't want to push too much too soon.]

They feel nice too, and seem a little familiar, actually.

I guess it usually does, I know elves can sense that stuff. Buuuut I'm not one so- I don't have it.

Well, not being able to sense magic has its advantages too, I suppose. Nobody can exploit it for one, but now I'm worried about you maybe walking into some magical trap and not even knowing it!

[that ruffle is cute Her own wings droop, flatly, with a slight stare to match before she raises an eyebrow.]

Okay, soooo I may have gotten myself into a few traps in my day! But I always get out just fine! I mean see for yourself- I still got all six limbs! [Wings count as limbs right?]
