I guess it usually does, I know elves can sense that stuff. Buuuut I'm not one so- I don't have it.

Well, not being able to sense magic has its advantages too, I suppose. Nobody can exploit it for one, but now I'm worried about you maybe walking into some magical trap and not even knowing it!

[His wings ruffle a little with indignation] Hey, c'mon- gimme some credit! That's only happened...[...half a dozen times...] a few times!

Okay, soooo I may have gotten myself into a few traps in my day! But I always get out just fine! I mean see for yourself- I still got all six limbs! [Wings count as limbs right?]

Yes, I'm glad you're in one piece. [That is genuine.] Which probably speaks for...something on your part. [Skill? Ingenuity? Crazy luck? Maybe a combination of all three.

She sighs, but can't help but smile a little bit, even as she folds her arms]

Whatever it is, keep doing it, but maybe try not to get into traps in the first place, although I'm sure you didn't exactly want to and hopefully didn't touch or pull things you probably shouldn't have.

[He'd say his mother but- let's face it. His mother was possibly the most unmotherly mother on the face of the planet. So let's not touch that one]

But, she looses her folded arms to lace her fingers in front of her, and her expression softens.]

We should go flying sometime, if you'd be okay with that. And if you'd be worried about being seen, I can take care of that.

Well, that would save on some problems. I kinda stand out with these things.

Probably not as much as you might think. To be honest, they look a little like fairy wings! Even if they really remind me more of a paladin's. Or an angel I guess is the equivalent?

[A gentle shrug.]

At any rate, I wouldn't mind. It'd be a pretty easy spell.

Yeah, okay so maybe they don't seem weird to you, Miss Fairy of Nature - but do try to remember most people aren't used to that sorta stuff and fairies here tend to be small.

[SO HARD TO JUST PASS OFF AS ANOTHER FAIRY OR WHATEVER FLYING BY]

But...alright. Maybe sometime we can go.

No, it's not just the little ones. The knights, mages, just about everyone at court--the monarchs included, of course--they're all fairies. They just keep their wings hidden. And to be honest, it seems that there are more people brought here that are familiar with magic than not, so winged people might not be so far from the mark.

[Flora doesn't bounce, quite, but only just.]
