Oh please. I'm sure I could handle being without powers way better than you could!

[Them's fighting words.] Hey, I've been without my powers a few times!

Yeah, so? When you have them, you use them all the time!

Meanwhile, I barely use mine most of the time!

[She sounds more indignant and not upset at the prospect at her, you know, possible death.

Though, I guess it depends on the terms. You could probably beat in a straight fight, at least.

Yes, I'm sure it was very hard having to walk to places.

[Okay he's sure her powers are much more necessary than that, but still good to tease man]

Hey, I walk all the time, okay. [Even when she has her wings out, thanks animation staff] It's great exercise which is why I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up lasting much longer than you.

Of course not. [She rolls her eyes.] I haven't had wings my entire life you know, walking isn't a foreign concept to me. I like doing it. But it wouldn't surprise me if you'd be content to just effortlessly float around everywhere if you could.

[Even if Zelos is really fit from what she can tell, but she wonders if it's the way Stella's fit: exceptional when pushed, but lazy otherwise.]

[He puts his hands behind his head] You'd think, but nah. I actually prefer walking! Floating around tends to just give me that feeling like I just missed a step or something.

[Flora's not upset, not even indignant, she he is actually joyously surprised in a "wow, you sure got one over on me boi, well-played"]

[That earns him a little noise. Not quite a snort--how unladylike--but it carries the same derision, albeit playfully.]

Yeah, it's not like you had any opportunities at all to interject when I mentioned being a fairy or transformed, or something convenient like that.

Of course not!

I mean, I thought about it, but it felt rude! It's not like I'm a fairy, so it might have sounded like I was trying to one-up you or something!

Yes, because we both know you're just at the pinnacle of politeness and modesty. How magnanimous of you.

[But she knows he knows he could have dropped that little detail. It could have been to mess with her or because he might not have been comfortable at the time. As ever, she's aware he's keeping secrets and that she's not a mind reader (she's not that kind of psychic). So, her tone is friendly, but careful.]

[But yep. it had been partly out of comfort. He didn't go to as great of lengths to hide it anymore, but he still preferred to keep it quiet. It was better to be known as a human than as something else.]

[But...well, Flora was a friend - as much as they argued. And she wasn't exactly human herself, so it wasn't like it'd be that big a deal to her right?]

Flora is all for manners and propriety and all that lovely (usually) necessary jazz, but the only reason why she didn't break into her then-crush's room herself is because she was too shyyyyy.

She's sort of over that now.

And she's not breaking in, anyway. Besides, Zelos is a friend.]

[Wow really? She teleported to the hallway? Whatever- he gets up and opens the door]

I didn't want to be rude in case you needed another minute. You were tidying up, weren't you?

Just a couple plates. It's not like the place is trashed.

[But whatever! He'll hold the door open for her so he can shut it when she's in]
