[ in her excitement, she forgot about the shoulder. she grimaces when she moves it. ]

I found salmon in the kitchens. There were nuts too so I crushed them for a crust and mixed them with a little bit of lemon...you like those, right?

[He nods]

Yeah, of course I like salmon! I'm surprised you found some.

[wolfchild]

A friend brought back meat and fish. There's venison too, and boar, but I remembered you saying you like seafood. Do you want to eat here?

Heh, you got that right. Anything but octopus.

And sure! I don't get off for several hours.

[wolfchild]

I'll go get it. Don't move. [ she adds in afterthought before dashing out the door. when she returns, she has a covered plate balanced carefully on her good hand. a bottle of watered wine and two cups lie in her sling. ]

That's for you. [ she slides the plate toward him. carefully, she removes the bottle and cups from her sling and sets them all on the table. ] You pour. I can't get the bottle open like this.

Wait is that wine?

No, it's water in a pretty bottle. It's a...cay-ber-net. It's supposed to go well with salmon.

And save it, I'm not supposed to drink alcohol on the clock either.

[He moves to get up]

[ while he fetches it, she drags a chair over to sit. it takes some doing to sit comfortably. she plays with the straps of her sling until he returns. ]

[He comes back a moment later with a couple bottles of water. Setting them down on the table, he eyes her sling that she's playing with]

Did you want me to fix that for you?

[wolfchild]

[ she blinks at him. ]

Well it's just dislocated right?

[wolfchild]

That's what Donny said.

[he considers. Donny doesn't exactly have his respect but he seems competent enough to identify a dislocated shoulder. And so, he won't question it.]
