We ought go fishing! It'll be fun! I've never been fishing myself, but I've seen it done. I know nets and lines and boats... We could go to a river someplace and mayhaps even get a boat and it can be just us! [ and nymeria. ] We can go swimming too!

I've never been either. But hey...I guess it could be a nice break from things.

[ she kicks her feet happily, the motion rocking her. ]

I had to use my wings the other day and I couldn't find a good way to dispose the ones that molted. I know you seem to like them, so I guess...have more?

Oh. [ she opens the baggie to examine the contents. she smiles faintly. closing it, she looks to zelos again. a finger taps her chest, where her feather lies under her shirt. ] Did I tell you how I got this one?

[Yes good take those feathers. But he looks curious]

You were using it to teach me. What happens when things fall and how some fall faster. Except that's all because of air and if that were all gone everything would hit ground at the same time. You had a pebble and a feather and then we were dropping things for a long time and you would give me heights and I would have to tell you how fast they would be going or how long they would take.

[He was pretty certain he was the dead opposite of a good luck charm]

[he cants his head back. Almost like he's trying to understand that sentence. ]

Yeah that's...heh- definitely a first to hear.

Because most of the people you knew are assholes. What I said is still true.

Uh...right. Then how do you explain all my bad luck, exactly? Because I got a lot of it.

Well, while I admit I'm not the greatest decision maker, I feel pretty confident in saying a lot of it has bad luck factored in too.

Being Chosen is bad luck. [ she will grant him that. ]

Mayhaps the rest isn't. You think you only bring ill and so many bad things happen it seems true. That doesn't make it your fault. You're better than you think. You only need to stop worrying so.
