You have this need to prove yourself, I can get that. But you can't just...run around and forget what's truly important to you because some fairies said you're special.

[There's a long pause on his end. He doesn't believe Ryan is right about how he's not going to lose anything. Not even for any reason specifically to Ryan- but that's just how these things go. Wars cause loss. But...he gets the distinct feeling that Ryan won't listen, not until he actually learns things the hard way.
