Because I'm worried about you.

You have this need to prove yourself, I can get that. But you can't just...run around and forget what's truly important to you because some fairies said you're special.

Because you could end up losing everything if you lose sight of that stuff. And I don't want to see that happen. Not over some fairies that tell everyone they're special.

Okay that's a valid point.

[Another pause.]

I'm not doing this because the fairies said I'm special, you know. You really think that's what this is about?

I don't know. Believe it or not, mind reading's not one of my powers.

But...I've seen this kind of stuff before. So I can't help but worry.

It's not going to be the same with me okay? I promise. I'm not going to lose anything. Besides, what if being special is what's truly important to me? Hypothetically.

[There's a long pause on his end. He doesn't believe Ryan is right about how he's not going to lose anything. Not even for any reason specifically to Ryan- but that's just how these things go. Wars cause loss. But...he gets the distinct feeling that Ryan won't listen, not until he actually learns things the hard way. Since hey, it's not like he listens to him all that much about anything else]

[But he's glad this is text now. So Ryan can't see the sad look on his face when he responds]

[As for the special thing? Zelos badly wants to ask why. Nothing has ever good from being special. But right, different lives- different perspectives]

Well...then I'd say Kelsi already seems to think you're special, so I don't see why you'd need the fairies to get that.

But fine. There's really not much to it. Just that...frankly? I've done the "special" thing. And...well, frankly I found that having the people I care about finding me special and worthwhile being...way more worthwhile.

...it's. [He gets what Zelos is saying, really he does, but he's trying to hold his tongue instead of stomping his feet and insisting that it's different for him and Sharpay.

She's obligated to tell me I'm special in the same way she's obligated to tell me my yoga pants don't make my ass look huge when they obviously do and the same way she's obligated to watch me rehearse for hours and she's obligated to listen to me talk about Ch--chasse reverse turns and a bunch of other stuff she doesn't have to worry about. [That is to say he knows she's not obligated at all.] But she does and I love her for it. That's exactly why I love her like I do. [And then of course there's the other part...]

And then I went home and then I got into Juilliard and she didn't and she got kinda really mad and now we're mostly okay but we're still 2000 miles apart and it's weird so. Whatever. She's not as bad as she seems though.

My parents have a lot of enterprises around the world. And we own a country club in Albuquerque that earns a lot in membership dues so…[Soooo yeah. That's a thing.] We've had a staff since Shar and I were born. It helped a lot since we spent most of our time in rehearsals anyway.

[Then...why would you listen to an angel? Jeez kid]

You mean the whole thing about them being in heaven and working as servants of the godde- higher power? Yeah, sure- that's true. [Maybe not so much, but he's not gonna say that] But I'm not exactly that kind of angel.

[And that just sounds like what Regal has. Maybe lower than that, and definitely lower than his family. Okay then.]
