I don't think they're really worth disclosing. They don't really...[He just sort of makes a weird sound as if he's saying "never mind".] It doesn't change my fighting style or anything and this whole conversation just got really awkward so never mind, the point I get it. I'm sort of used to it though. Sharpay and I--this is literally the longest we've ever been apart. And then I went home and then I got into Juilliard and she didn't and she got kinda really mad and now we're mostly okay but we're still 2000 miles apart and it's weird so. Whatever. She's not as bad as she seems though.

[Sharpay's complicated.] Like I said you being an angel holds a lot more weight in the whole "thou shall not ask stupid questions and get magic you can't handle because dire consequences" thing. If I said the same thing to you, would you listen to me? I don't think so.

It's not the first time he's heard something like that, and hearing that Ryan was rich enough to have staff to do all his chores? Makes it all make sense.]

[There's complicated, and then there's the Evans twins and it's obvious from the way he drops the subject like a sack of potatoes. Still. He's not sure what to make of that next comment so there's a pause and he's suddenly laughing.]

Um. I'm not. Kind of the opposite actually, I guess. But I recognize higher powers and that's what angels are, aren't they? In a way.

[…oh right. The whole rich people thing. He stops laughing and just sort of sounds a little more thoughtful now.]

My parents have a lot of enterprises around the world. And we own a country club in Albuquerque that earns a lot in membership dues so…[Soooo yeah. That's a thing.] We've had a staff since Shar and I were born. It helped a lot since we spent most of our time in rehearsals anyway.

[Then...why would you listen to an angel? Jeez kid]

You mean the whole thing about them being in heaven and working as servants of the godde- higher power? Yeah, sure- that's true. [Maybe not so much, but he's not gonna say that] But I'm not exactly that kind of angel.

[And that just sounds like what Regal has. Maybe lower than that, and definitely lower than his family. Okay then.]

No it's just like...the whole thing about them being able to control things out of human hands. If you want to call it being a servant, sure, but even angels have the ability to make choices, right? That's why angels and angels of death exist. [Ryan what?] What kind of angel are you then?

[A snort.] I know. I kind of haven't told anybody...and I sort of want to keep it that way? If that's okay.

[WHAT RYAN YOU HAVE SOMETHING YOU WANT TO KEEP PERSONAL THATS FUN- okay even Zelos is not that much of a vengeful dick.]

If that's your choice. Don't worry, I won't mention anything.

[Admittedly, Zelos knew very little about Earth religions. Even though...he's kinda wondering if Ryan might be a wee off base in what makes an angel of death or not. Just...saying]

And well that depends on the angel. Some can make their own choices, but most can't. [And are essentially soulless killing machines- but oh he'll not mention that and stick with the Church doctrine] Although the ones who can't mostly stay in Heaven and serve out the will of the Goddess - or whatever you prefer to call the supreme power.

As for me, I'm a Chosen One. It's...complicated, but essentially it means I was a human born with the power to become an angel when I was old enough and bring salvation to the world.
