[And here he goes again. He's just messaged Sheena about this, but it's still not much easier than the first time.]
His name's Richter Abend, and he was Aster's friend. I don't think he's a threat while he's here, but after Aster's death he...he caused a lot of trouble, to stop me from eliminating mankind and to bring back Aster. And part of that involved taking a Cruxis Crystal from you or Colette, so I thought you especially should know.
But don't tell Aster! He doesn't know, and I think it's better that way.

[Emil can't really put it in definite terms. He wishes he could, but if he understood Richter that well maybe some of that trouble Richter caused could have been avoided.]
Aster's here, and now he knows that killing me isn't in the future. The world will be safe. He shouldn't have a reason to do anything, unless it were a threat to Aster.
[Then again, Emil would take action himself if Aster were in danger. That's nothing all that sinister.]
I don't think Richter was right in what he tried to do, but even if it sounds strange he's not a bad person. I owe a lot to him.

I know it's hard to believe, but he's really not...all bad. And a lot of his actions were because I was threatening the world in the first place.
[Emil understands the extent of what Richter's done. He just can't bring himself to think badly of Richter, especially to someone who hasn't seen who Emil used to be. A lot of that change is because of Richter's help, after all.]
