it's white and rectangular, tied off with a slate grey ribbon and bow; inside, there sits a polished oak box.
there's not much 'regular' about it; it's carved with simplicity, sure, but there's also strange arcs to it, and what may be doves or some other type of bird adorned on the edges. in the middle, of course, is K.M., for kaneis major.
the box isn't empty, however.
inside the wooden chest are two books, both paperback; one is murder on the orient express and the other is dracula--both have very little in common save for the fact that they're both classics.
don't think he didn't hear that bit about needing a book to read.
