[ the lunge had made her crash against him. his flailing only serves to knock her off-balance so she falls on top of him. arya is stunned a moment before she snatches his pillow to hit him with it a loud, "Ha!" ]

[wilder]

[And he came falling back with that since wow ball of stark hitting him. And before he knows it, there's a pillow in his face hitting him. So have some more flailing]

Ah! Wolf attack!

[wolfchild]

[ she laughs. ]

Do you yield?

[wilder]

I dunno- What're your conditions?

[wolfchild]

[wilder]

Uuuuugh- fine fine! You win!

Now stop hitting my face!

[wolfchild]

[ she does. and she kisses him on the nose with a loud and happy "mwah!" ]

[wilder]

[And that sound gets him to laugh a little as he pushes his hair out of his face. It's weak, but hey at least it's actually genuine. ]

So cruel...

[ she kisses him again, this time on the cheek. shifting her weight, she moves to get off him except she misjudges how close she is to the edge. she falls off the bed with a little yelp. more stunned than hurt, she cracks up. ]

[wilder]

Whoa-

[He leans over the bed to see if she's okay. When he sees that she's laughing, he'll be relieved and snicker too]

Jeez- I thought wolves were supposed to be graceful!

[wolfchild]

I thought knights were meant to be quick! [ she retaliates, though there is no bite in her voice. she's still smiling. nymeria lifts her head and barks. her tail thumps against the covers. ]

[wilder]

[He snorts] What? No. We just gotta be able to hit stuff with swords.

[wolfchild]

You stick things with swords. You hit them with clubs.

[ sitting up, she props her chin up on the bed with one hand. she points at zelos with the other. ]

You had better get some sleep. It's affecting you. You're getting slow, old man.

[wilder]

Stick, hit- whatever as long as the target ends up dead.

[He raises his eyebrow]

Jeez, fixating on that sleep thing again?

[wolfchild]

You need to! If you're really so scared Curry will eat you, I'll hold her.

[wilder]

[his shoulders slump a little]

Please...c'mon, don't make me sleep.

[wolfchild]

[ the lightheartedness drops away. ]

Why not? What's wrong?

I just...don't get any rest from sleep, that's all.

Is it the nightmares?

[He debates anything anything before he finally...just says it]

Actually? Some nights...the good dreams are worse.

[ arya looks down at the floor, chewing her lip in thought. ]

What do you mean fix? I'm pretty sure I need amnesia for something like that to be fixed and I'm still not sure how I feel about that.

[ she gives him a look. ]

No one is giving you amnesia. [ more than he already has anyway. ] Do you have thread?

I dunno, I might cause less problems that way...

[wolfchild]

[ while rummaging: ] You only half-remember me and you're as much of a problem as always. I found it!

[ she sits on the floor and abruptly looks up. ]
