It's a flying machine. It's only meant for one or two people, but they're pretty fast!

Well, maybe you'll come to like it. It's really wonderful! If you'd like, I'd be more than happy to try to help you with it, since you're looking for new skills. I know, you're trying to keep it a secret, but there are a lot of advantages to being in the air, and those soldiers are probably learning how to use them best, if they don't know already. It'll good to have an edge, or at least a chance for a more level playing field. Or even if you never use it, it'd also be good to fall back on if you should ever need or are pushed to it.

Whenever you're free. I was thinking we could train while using missions as a cover. That way, nobody'll be able to walk in on us up here, and there won't be any other questions asked if all it looks like is we're doing is ordinary assignments, which we'll be doing anyway.

Uh...would that be an assignment that doesn't involve people on Earth? Because there's a lot of time periods down there they might burn us for witches if they see us.

I have that covered, even if I wish I didn't have to. Anyway, I can teleport, so we can head somewhere remote, and then head back to a city, no problem. This might perhaps be a strange question, but you wouldn't happen to have any jewellery, would you?

Oh, is that what that jewellery is called? But I was asking, because even if I can keep a lookout in a place where people shouldn't be, I thought it couldn't hurt to be extra careful. Gems hold magic very well, so I was hoping to enchant one to make you invisible to everyone but me. I could cast it on you directly, if you were alright with that, and it would work just fine, unless my spell is somehow disrupted.

[She's considered the possibility, but she doesn't know for sure that he actually doesn't sleep, just that her spells aren't absolutely effective with him, so she needs to up the ante.]

Yeah, it does.

May I ask where and what? What I said before still stands, but I won't be able to help as much if I don't have some understanding of your powers and what makes them work.

[There's a long pause on his end. He honestly...hates talking about this stuff. Really hates it. It's a huge factor in why he doesn't tell people much of anything. ]

My wings come from my crystal. Or at least, they triggered them- I don't know all the details on how that works. But essentially, power from the crystal altered my body to allow it to have numerous abilities and wings.

My healing and magic, that's from a different source. Some sort of thing they had me ingest changed...I don't know, something in my body so I could use magic too. The crystal, from what I understand, helps enhance my magic's potency - but it's not the source of it.
