[He's silent for a moment at that reply. He then stands up, as if the chair suddenly was unpleasant to sit in. Arms loosely crossed, he walks away to a nearby window. It's still raining, like always. Yet looking at it helps calm his nerves and think more than staring at the place that he's made his home the past nine months. ]

[It's a long spell before he speaks up again. ]

...That's a stupid plan.

[He feels terrible, that he's forcing the people close to him to shoulder this as well. This shouldn't be something Kaneis needs to deal with at all. But Allen's made it his problem. His gaze drops down, to his knees.

The plan, however...

It's not as though he wants it to come to that, to anything close to that. But-]

I- I don't know!

[It's said a bit snappishly, hurried. He doesn't know what to do. He doesn't know anything. He keeps trying to wrap his mind around this, and it's hard. He had been so hoping his paranoia about Link meant nothing, that things would keep being the same. That the little bit of happiness- or at least, content - he's managed to scrounge up would stay after everything else. But here they were, discussing how to kill his teenage roommate should he lose it. ]

[And this time he can't even find a way to blame it on himself. Even in his damaged mind, he couldn't figure out a way how Noah infestations had anything to do with his existence.]

[He takes a deep breath, trying to get stable- trying to be detached]

I don't know, okay? It's not like you've given me a plethora of information to make a nice plan or anything.

But I know the dead comes back here- quickly too. They...they kill you, and you'd...just pop right back up an hour later. In the Initiative's hospital full of innocent people, no less.

[Yeah. That's it. The logical reason is the reason why he's against it. Nothing else.]

[He'd expected Kaneis to perhaps, be angry with him or avoidant, but he hadn't expected he'd react - like this. Allen hunches his shoulders.]

I know it's not a nice plan. I don't want it to happen.

I won't let it happen, I'll do everything in my power.

[Even if he believes it, he knows it's not going to be much of comfort to Kaneis right now.]

[He does know more, but he's not going to tell him. It's nothing helpful, Kaneis doesn't need to know.]

[There's a pause, he pinches the bridge of his nose a little and sighs a little. The apologies just remind him of Colette]

It's not your fault. Stuff like this just...happens.

[He's sure the last thing the kid wanted to happen was this. He turns his back against the wall, looking up a bit at the ceiling as he tries to think. Think of a plan, it's easier than thinking on emotions. And no Allen, he doesn't believe your words. You give the same conviction over a lot of stuff okay.]

So you don't know much...Has anyone researched Noahs? Maybe there's something in the library from your world.

[Bookman knows about the Noah. Lavi might, as well, but he's been unwilling to say much at all. He never once mentioned the Fourteenth.

Cross definitely knows more, but it's Cross. His sure his Master has already said precisely all he intends to say.

Link surely has a better idea what's going on, and right now, he might be Allen's best bet.

But he shakes his head.]

I don't think there are any books at all. Not many people know the Noah exist.

[Or rather, about the sort of stuff that comes up in his life because he apparently is incapable of leading a normal one. ]

If you don't mind being poked and prodded, I know several researchers. Half of them actually follow a code of ethics too.

What I know about Noah now... is that only Innocence can defeat them. But there are spells, as well, I think, that can affect them... [He's partly thinking out loud. Link knows a spell that can create a barrier against them. What else does he know...]

So from I'm getting- Noahs aren't impossible to stop, but they only got a few weaknesses that are pretty hard to imitate, right?
