My name is Howard Link. Due to various events at home, it is my duty to supervise one Allen Walker at all times. However, because this is not our world, and out of consideration for those currently living with him, this apartment will not be monitored directly.
I leave it to Walker's discretion whether or not to explain the details. Or, should you have his permission, you may contact me with questions or concerns via my contact information on the Initiative Network.

Evening of August 7th, ACTIONISH
[However that certainly doesn't mean Kaneis decided to ignore the note or simply accept. He wasn't someone who took new changes laying down, not at least until he had enough information. Allen, as tumultuous as their relationship tended to be, was his roommate. And this change in Allen's life was clearly big enough to cause a stir in their lives. ]
[So that's what he's been spending the past few days doing. Gathering what he could from Initiative provided medical records (which was next to nothing, which was pretty unsurprising), following the feeds of the tablets, asking around and sometimes observing in person from a distance - all to get a feeling on what kind of person he was dealing with. Super senses and years experience with spying made it so it was pretty easy to watch without rousing too much suspicion, though maybe Link caught glimpses now and then of someone with covered up hair lingering a bit too long in the area.]
[But the hens will finally come home to roost on the seventh when Link gets back to his cot in temporary housing. On the pillow, there is an envelope neatly placed with Link's full name handwritten on it. The handwriting itself is fairly fancy- someone with a good education took time on it. The letter inside contains the same handwriting as well as some money.]
"To Howard,
Thank you for the notice of your actions. While I had much preferred you contacted the adults of the apartment in a more discreet manner (we do have a child living with us), I can understand that handwritten notes may be more familiar to you. And so I thought I'd return the gesture!
I can't claim to have extensive knowledge of the ongoing on the Black Order or of Allen's activities in your world. Though I can say over the past eight months in Exsilium he hasn't done anything to merit constant supervision. But of course, I'm sure you are only doing your job! I get it! I don't plan to interfere, I've made a habit of staying out of your war and I intend to keep it that way.
To keep things simple, I strongly encourage you not to give me any reason to rethink this stance.
If you wish to contact me or the other roommates, you're free to do so! Perhaps allowing us to get to know you will do you good. Unfortunately, at this time it'd probably be best if you didn't come to the apartment. It's a shame really, I'm sure Cheria's cooking would beat out anything they feed you in the Hold.

P.S.: As a gesture of goodwill, I've left you with enough money to buy some decent rain gear. I'd hate to see hair as nice as yours get wrecked from this terrible weather!"
[And sure enough, in the envelope contains several bills and coins that looks like enough to buy decent rain gear. However? There is something off with one of the coins. It looks like it was once a normal coin, but somehow was melted just enough to be folded in half without breaking. ]

Later evening of August 7th, text;
"To Mr. Kaneis Major
My apologies for any inconveniences my letter may have caused. I'm afraid I have not yet discovered any public directory of residents in the Initiative's housing complex and did not intend to investigate Walker's roommates, thus I was unaware that there was a child in the household. If such information is to be kept from them then I shall endeavor to take more care in the future.
As well, you have my appreciation for looking after Walker despite your intention not to involve yourself with issues from our world. It is heartening to know he has made a friend who would support him without question. Unfortunately, it is, as you already understand, my job to keep watch over him regardless of his actions here or his feelings regarding my assignment.
Because of this, I cannot in good conscience accept your money for myself, so, should you not have any objections, I will be putting your gift toward helping to keep Walker fed.
If, once he has become accustomed to my presence, Walker wishes to introduce us formally, I would not object to meeting with you or his other roommates. Otherwise I would prefer to leave it to you to seek me out, as I have the flexibility for the time being not to actively impose upon every aspect of Walker's life.

It was make sure he's fed or get eaten myself, I followed the pragmatic choice. But alright, do what you wish with the money. I will look forward to the day that we may be formally introduced. If something comes up, I'll contact you.
