Now, as to whether or not all this is part of some greater plan or just a series of chances....I don't know. No one knows for sure. That's all about your own beliefs- I can't tell you what to believe. You gotta believe in what you feel is the right answer...whatever feels true in your heart.

Second? They're very different. Hair ties and scrunchies give padding so it doesn't mangle your hair. Taking off a hairband isn't supposed to hurt, you know.
Also? They break less than rubber bands. So you really aren't saving yourself money in the long run.

Something like this works fine. They're cheap and come in all sorts of colors. Or cloth ribbons if you're good at tying knots. There's also clasps, pins, clips, barrettes and hair sticks- but those are more advanced than what you're ready for.
