[ he laughs, and it tapers off as he shifts. ] He's always been the best at making fast friends. He's just excited.

Ahhh, one of those types. I had forgotten how much energy they have.

What, Lloyd hasn't given you a wake up call yet?

Not really. Lloyd only has bursts of energy when there's something new, but it wears off pretty fast.

Any other constant energy he did have? Well at least with the Lloyd I knew back home, it was more directed at other tasks than befriending me. [It's not a complaint, it's matter of fact- Lloyd was kind of busy with all the bad things that were going around them]

Maybe Lloyd could help do that for Sora. [ s... igh. ] Sometimes...

[ bah. no, he's not going to get into that. he shakes his head. ] It's not important.

Just give him a chance. He's a pretty good friend--the more frowns he sees, the more he's gonna try to make you happy.

[Wow, that statement alone makes him frown]

He's your friend, so I'm sure he means well. I'm just not at all fond of people who seem to expect a smile all the time.

there's a pause. riku's quite sure his tendency to judge people is still anywhere near optimal... but, if that's how kaneis wants to spin it. ]

He'd probably just crack jokes, anyway. [ his laugh is more muted. ] He's not really the 'smile all day' kind of guy... that's more Donald and Goofy, his other friends.

I'm a lot more worried at how Lloyd and Sora are gonna act together. [ 8| ] Does he do anything crazy?

[Riku it's mostly because you have like no friends, as Sora said himself. So he figures anyone you actually bother to call friends is on the up and up]

Jokes are fine. [He likes jokes well enough!] ...Right. Stay clear of Donald and Goofy. I'll keep that in mind.

[And there's a pause]

Reckless? Hmmm...he has his moments, sure, but he'll listen to reason.

Actually, I've seen him get pissed when he thinks someone's being reckless with their life. [YOU KNOW, LIKE YOU CAN BE]

Huh? [ I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT ]

Then it sounds like Lloyd would be a pretty good role model. Maybe he could teach Sora a thing or two.
